Looks so Innocent!

I liked the contrast of the diaphanous moth on the purple liatris in my mother's front yard.  My sister, however, informed me that the moth had developed from a worm that attacks apple trees (there are three crabapple trees in that same yard).   So... when you see the moth, the damage has already been done.   But the moth is still pretty! I'm linking up with Nature Footstep memes---in particular, Winged.

It is pretty - but too bad it damages apple trees - nature at work, I guess.

a friend of mine would love this photo, every time she visits her mother's grave she sees a white butterfly, she's convinced its a sign from her mother ... hey who am i to argue
