Trees on Snowy Mountains

To complete the post I began yesterday, I'm adding my favorite images of the drive home across the Blue Mountains on Friday. The sky had cleared, the sun was out (behind us to the west), and the snow looked blue. (I didn't get out of the car for any of these photos.)

(This is my choice for Madge's Weekly Top Shot #64.  I haven't participated for awhile.)

Although we're driving east, the afternoon light is everywhere on the horizon.

That is just so pretty! If it were a couple of weeks earlier, we could call it a Blue Christmas! ;)

Those trees are so tall and beautiful! Gorgeous blue skies, too.

The trees appear as silhouettes in most of your captures which is pretty dramatic against the blue sky and clouds.
