A hot summer...and suddenly, it was fall. No Indian Summer....no more warm days and nights. Frost...hard frost that wiped out the last of the fall flowers, turning the dahlias into dark zombie-like "things." The maple trees haven't started turning color yet, but frosty individuals dot the lawn. I'm joining with Nancy's Tuesday Muse, Kim's Texture Tuesday, and Kristy's Texture Twist.

I guess that's a bit of a frosty-shock to the system
Great image Evelyn. Your frost is swiftly working its way west.
I love Topaz!
Brrrr... I love this frosty, crispy image!
I am so glad fall is here. :) Lovely photo
I love this frosty image, the suddenly cold weather...not so much!
Wow, frost already? Beautiful capture and congrats on being this week's featured Texture Twist!
Lovely capture of the frost droplets and the glistening on the leaf.
Lovely colors! Pretty capture of frost!
I dread the coming of frost but it does make for a lovely photo.
It was almost the same here, although we didn't have frost (only close to it). I'm almost afraid I can't remember what a sunny day looks like... ;-) Have a wonderful week, Evelyn!
Brrrr! ;)
Lovely image.
That's drastic weather. You got a lovely image from it, though!
You can feel the cold. Nicely done.
Fabulous frosty image... hopefully if you still had veggies in the garden you got them harvested first...
brrrrrr
Frost all ready - Still hasn't hit here yet.
