"The View From Up Here" (with apologies to Madge Bloom)
That particular phrase is just so apt for the view my husband, son and I had Saturday. It's actually the third time DH and I have been to the top of 6000-ft Mt. Emily, looking down on the huge Grande Ronde Valley. But my choice of images has a double meaning, in that it's a photograph of our son photographing the "skeleton" tree so high up there! In the valley, Mt. Harris, which is 5000 ft. high, looks very small; the snowy tops of Eagle Caps of the Wallowa Mountains beyond Mt. Harris range from 5000 to 10,000 feet in elevation. So, Madge, I added just a bit to the phrase that is your blog title: The View From Right Here.
