REDISCOVERING MYSELF THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHY

Blue is my favorite color

Dayle appreciates an empty dishwasher as her 'Simple Pleasures' photo this week.  I know the feeling!   As someone who lives in a dark house because of its orientation, I appreciate the light from windows.   In my tiny kitchen window, I keep cobalt blue glass bottles.... I think they were just $1 apiece....and I never tire of them.  They'll look beautiful when there's snow outside, as well.

I like them too, they look so nice with the light shining through; I think it's a classic look.

Evelyn,
I just love cobalt blue bottles, I used to collect them also. Yours are lovely and the light makes them look even lovelier. Good one for Simple Pleasures.

I'm also a lover of light through the windows, and wish I had more of it in certain rooms. Those cobalt blue bottles add a certain magic to the kitchen window. Amazing how something so simple can produce so much pleasure. Seriously. A blue bottle in a window. See why I love this party?

Beautiful Blue. I used to live in a home that had very little light. I loved winter because the whole house brightened up.

Oh, I love cobalt blue bottles! I have quite a few lined up on a windowsill in my kitchen, too. You're right, there's something so simply beautiful about the way the sunlight shines through that blue glass. Thank you for reminding me of one of my own simple pleasures!
