A dearth of subjects for Macro Flower Saturday

It's Macro Flower Saturday again, and I'm growing desperate for subjects!

November...but a fairly mild one, so far.  Flowers?  They are few and far between.  Today, I found two subjects for my camera, and I'm celebrating both.  From now on, it will have to be purchased flowers for me.

The little purple 'daisies' are a late-summer bloomer, noticeable only because they grow in 'bunches.'  The flower is only 1- 2 inches wide. (Thanks to Maia T for identifying these as asters!)

And there's that tough little petunia; as long as it has some protection from the cold, it will continue to bloom.

Beautiful flowers and shots, Evelyn! And isn't it just great that we have photography as excuse (if we needed one)) for buying us flowers! ;-)
Have a wonderful weekend!

They are so pretty flowers, both. The little asters have such a beautiful color.
Lively macro shots, thanks for sharing them on Macro Flower Saturday.

Lovely flower macros. The lavender ones are my favorite but I'm happy to see any flower, so late in autumn.

The purple ones look a little like asters, but can't be, if they have been blooming all summer! I have never looked at the centre of a petunia, so that is interesting, too! I am going to go into the archives, or use the dried weeds out in the fields, rather than purchasing...

I love purple daisies. You were lucky to find them. The only flowers left here are wilted from the hard freeze we had last week. Very nice post.

Beautiful pictures you've got here! The macros with the white petunia are more romantic and the ones with the autumn asters are just wow!
