Once again in love with macro, I delight in seeing the entries linked to Laura's Blogging from Bolivia and that great Macro Friday. Today, I'm sharing some red berries that grow along mountain highways in this part of the country. I look forward to seeing them in the fall, and when there's snow, they are even more striking. Some grow on branches more than 6 feet tall. (I'm sure the truck drivers were just a bit curious as to why that woman was knee-deep in roadside weeds with a camera buried in the dewy foliage!)

Gorgeous! They look a lot like the little apples on our crabapple tree....Thanks for braving the wet to take such a beautiful shot!
Oh, the things we will do and the places we will go to get that photo : ) I love these berries -- such rich color -- I have been fascinated with berries recently, trying to capture that perfect shot -- your berries are great -- I will keep trying.
beautiful color! Nice work.
I think that I get some strange stares too when I'm out photographing things too. Those berries look wonderful in that cluster.
I love the deep red. At least the truck drivers did not honk the horn at you while you were getting such beautiful shot :-D
