Macro Friday --- dealing with low light

I would love to have some natural light in my house!  Indoor macro shots for  Macro Friday are very difficult for me when the light isn't adequate.  My subject is a porcelain ornament by Oregon artist, Margaret Furlong, and I photographed it under a tungsten lamp.

(For Christmas, I am really wishing for a camera like Laura's! I reminded "Santa" again today. )

Thanks for visiting my blog! Hope you come back again soon. :)

I have the same problem with low-light. The flash on my own camera (point and shoot) is WAY too harsh. But I like the white vignette you've added to this photo. Very simple and sweet.

I love the snow going over your blog it's so effective. Have you tried turning up your iso inside? that is such a great help in low light. I love this figurine, so pretty.

I'm also struggling with low light! This ornament is very pretty! Maybe you should write a wish list for Santa, just to make sure ;-)
Have a wonderful weekend!
