Although we add our photos to our Flickr galleries and then to the P52 gallery, I've decided to blog mine, as well. These are my first three photos of 2011. I hope to have each one be significant in some way....(I might run out of 'significance' before long, though!)
I worked on learning to shoot bokeh with Christmas lights; this bokeh shot of the candle in front of the Christmas tree was my last one before the tree came down after the New Year. |
Week #3 of P52 features my new knowledge gained through Kim Klassen's 'skinny mini e-course' in PhotoShop Elements. I have wanted for so long to learn how to add textures, but I didn't understand layers. Now I have basic knowledge I can play with. This tree is one I'm photographing each month of the year; it's located about 8 miles from my house in a farmer's field.

What a beautiful selection, Evelyn! I love your texture work! Isn't it fantastic to learn this with Kim - I'm taking her video lessons, too, and they are really great! This last photo would make a wonderful card - love also the quote on it! I'm looking forward to your P52 photos!
Gorgeous!! Each photo is stunnin gin its own right! That tree is breathtaking. Can not wait t see that one progress!
I love them all - especially the bokeh! Textures are great fun! MCP Actions has a free texture applicator action that I use.
