White in winter

Once again, it's Macro Flowers Saturday, a wonderful opportunity to see beautiful flowers....even for those of us  who are surrounded by the cold of winter.  I bought some simple white carnations at a grocery store last week, and spent some time doing a 'white study.'

I love your carnation. White studies are always very interesting, I like the composition in the first photo.
Greetings from icy Finland:)

Whites are so hard to "do" nicely, and you have done this beautifully!!
Just gorgeous Evelyn!

The white with a touch of green. Did you fuzz it around the edges in photo shop afterwards or did you have your camera set for this? Beautiful. Both are beautiful, but the first one is exceptional.

hmm. I thought I left a comment here... I love the first one - it is so amazing - and I love the profile effect. :)
