A colorful macro shot on a dreary day

It's been awhile since I've linked up with Macro Friday on Blogging from Bolivia.  I bought the same camera Laura uses for her fabulous macro shots...but I can't get it to work the same way!    Although we've had sunny days, the temperatures have hovered around freezing during daylight hours and much lower at night.  I bought yellow tulips to brighten up things....and to have something pretty to photograph.

This is really the perfect colour for a dreary day, Evelyn! I love the angle, too!

Thanks for the sunshine, Evelyn! It's dreary over here, too, but at least it's a little warmer now.

Nice colors. And keep practicing your macros. My zoom has a macro, but it is not what you call a 'true' macro. I also put a lens in front of my 18-135 to get macro.
