I've always loved old barns, but now I'm looking for them all the time! I'm noticing barns I've never paid any attention to before. My attention to barns has been inspired by the Barn Charm meme (that's a new word for me, too!). Some processing in Picnik brightened up an otherwise drab scene. As with this barn, old barns in this area show damage from the weather that comes from the south(west).

We have several of these barns that are falling apart....I often wonder how long we will have wooden barns left standing.
I often wonder why people just let barns fall down like that. Great shot!
Beautiful photo--what a great old barn :)
Wow this is pretty cool! Love how you edit this one. Thanks for sharing!
Barn Charm
I love these colors! Nice.
Great edit Evelyn and I love barns thought here is not so much left.
A great old barn with many tales to tell. Nice shot. MB
Very cool find, Evelyn, & nice processing, too! It's a great looking barn & even though it's weathered, I'd still love to explore it... you'll get tired of me saying that, but I just can't help it! =)
Thanks so much for joining!
Very nice techniques.
Oh those barns do have their charms and their seductions.
It looks like this barn still has good bones and that a few new planks would restore it. It makes such a lovely picture the way it is, though.
Nice twist on photo, Evelyn. It really accentuates the missing planks on the barn. Great find, too!
I like how you've brightened this up. Nice capture!
A fine shot of this barn which seems to be on its last legs. Very good picture.
Evelyn - This is such a beautiful structure, and you have captured it beautifully!
Beautiful old barn - the wooden ones are my favorites. Too bad its in such sad shape!
