REDISCOVERING MYSELF THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHY

13/52

It was a busy week....no time for photos other than those of  people:   visiting grown sons and a future daughter-in-law, a cooking class for children (oldest son is a chef in Brooklyn), reunion of adult cousins who grew up together, and special times with two aging grandmothers---one 80 and one 90.     It was one of the last photos I took that I've chosen for my P52 challenge.  The 'kids' were leaving on a morning of chilly temperature and spring snow.

We've lived in the same house for 33 years and we've had the same 'junky' situation across the street on the corner.   I don't think about it until I see it as a photo background.  So I applied at least 4 dark textures to camouflage it.     This way, the focus is on what's important to my husband and me:  our 'kids.'

Isn't it sad when it is time for them to go again.
You turned it into a precious fun moment. Great use for texture. Hope you'll meet up again soon.
