The beauty of a late snow

It's time for Lisa's Creative Exchange again, and I've 'framed' one of my photos from 3 days ago. It's a rather stark contrast to Lisa's beautiful pink tulip macro.   I had been to an early-morning appointment 55 miles away, running into new snow----complicated by below-freezing temperatures....on my drive.  But everything was beautiful!   On the drive back, I wandered a little, stopping here and there to record some late-winter images.  When wet snow blows and then freezes, it frosts every surface.

You definitely have a better 'eye' for photography than you think you do... I would never have thought to take this shot, but it's really great & very creative!!! =)

The needles are so photogenic, and the snow adds to that. Almost japanese the way you positioned them. Or am I thinking chinese?

This is gorgeous Evelyn!
It's strange how something that can be such an inconvenience at times to us, can still be so very beautiful. Mother Nature is truly amazing!

Thank you so much for sharing this today at The Creative Exchange.

I wish you a wonderful evening.

This is so beautiful, Evelyn! Though I'm glad the snow hasn't come back (there is always a slight chance into April but nothing really to stay longer than a few hours), I simply love this shot!

Although I've seen more snow and frost than I want to this month, your photo is beautiful. Just goes to show we need to slow down and enjoy our surroundings. Love your border too!

This is simply lovely. I really like how the snow is just on the tips of the pine needles. This winter provided a lot of great snow photo opps, but I'm ready for spring too.
