Struggle to find a 'heart' photo

I love participating in The Creative Exchange each week, but I was in a fix today!  I didn't have a photo that I really wanted to share, particularly one from my 'heart.'  The only decent weather yesterday was during church; later, it began to rain and blow.  Today was nice, but I could NOT find a good subject. Nothing is blooming yet; in fact, bulbs are just pushing through the ground and trees have only begun to bud.   However, on a trip to H&R Block to have our taxes done, I saw this beautiful spring-like sky through the car windshield.  That's how I shot it....from the passenger side of the car while my husband drove.    The snow-covered mountains on the horizon are reminders of the season, but the white and blue of the sky is a good harbinger of spring.  It's on its way!

Lovely sky photo, Evelyn! I've had some days like yours, but somewhere along the way, beauty manages to peak out.....unfortunately, I don't always have my camera with me.

That is beautiful sky. I love all the shades of blue in the sky and the in mountain. That time of year is quite difficult, nothing to shoot until buds come but it very short time until nature burst to green:) We have tons of snow my waiting time is much longer.
Have great week and thank you your sweet words.

Brilliant composition and landscape scene. All we seem to have had lately is boring grey skies!

Truly that sky was a gift, and I definitely see spring in it!

Thank you so much for sharing it this week at The Creative Exchange.

What a great sky, Evelyn! I love the space it takes in the picture! Lovely effect how you presented it like a polaroid!

Wow, I miss living near the mountains. You are a lucky gal!

I love clouds and these are special, even at an angle.
My editing programme has a feature that straightens out images. It is wonderful to see 4300x3200 worth of pixels suddenly all shift themselves to the vertical.

You took that pic thru the windshield? I can't take that good & clear a shot shooting directly at the sky! Very cool! =)

Yes, COME ON SPRING! LoL!

This is a fabulous sky shot. I really like the fact that you focused on the sky with just a sliver of land at the bottom. Nicely done...through the windshield!
