A barn on a mountain

Barn Charm again...and I'm a day late! (At least I don't have to worry about tornadoes as Tricia does in SE Missouri!)    There are plenty of mountains around here, and I'm certain there might be barns on them, but I found one on Easter Sunday that I didn't know existed.   My husband and I have  driven the road up Mt. Harris before, but we drove farther this time.   There are two outbuildings on this property so high above the valley, and there is a lane into the property that is obviously used, but we have no idea what these buildings are used for....or what they might have housed at one time.   I'm impressed by this particular barn---it was built to stand against the elements.

Very beautiful. Good to know you are not that close to the tornadoes. This barn is solid I can see it looks like the wall is made of cement block. Have a great week days.

Don't think I've ever seen a sturdier built barn! Love the pastoral scene and beautiful texture. Really wonderful edit, Evelyn!

Most definitely built to withstand the elements if it's in the mountains of Oregon!!! =) And beautiful scenery, as always...

I apologize for taking so long to visit, but the flood situation in this area has me busy out shooting the scenery! =0

Stay tuned to Bluff Area Daily for updates on the situation! LoL! =)

It does look as if it was meant to stand the test of time...plus it looks like it has a wonderful view around it!
