Having discovered Photo Feature Friday on "A Rosy Note" last week, I have been looking forward to it all week. Pink is the theme, which I had actually forgotten....but since yesterday afternoon, I've been photographing tiny pink roses that were marked down from $5 to $2.50 in Walmart's floral display. I have only a small west-facing kitchen window, where I set up my 'studio' background of an 18"x24" canvas, cheap towel, and lace tablecloth. (f4.5, 1/45 sec., 400 ISO, 45 mm)
The textures are from Flypaper Textures' Spring Painterly collection: Mystic Hues and Orange Blossom

What an inventive way to create a background.
A canvas board? Was it? Brilliant idea. I am always stuck for a background and himself is getting tired of holding up a piece ot cloth :-)
Good use of the bargain roses.
Mine are out, so I have no excuse.
Lovely! Thanks so much for your visit :-).
I super love the texture the lace cloth goes well with it creating a soft vintage-y feeling. Simply adorable with that nice deals.
