Barns are still standing on Barn Charm

Each time I've opened Tricia's Barn Charm challenge lately, I wonder if she's going to be there....with all the flooding and now the horrible tornado in Joplin, Missouri has suffered much more than its share in the past few weeks!    (Dog Ma textures)

Beautiful work, Evelyn. Hope Tricia's okay. I had no idea she was near Joplin. So sad.\ what happened there.

That is a great looking barn. I like the overhang that probably houses a winch for loading or unloading things. The cupola on top is a fine additon too. Nice post.

Those barns around the US are so fancy, with the little widow's watch thingie on the top. for ventilation I presume. You've made it look like a storybook place.

That tornado was horrific. Hard to fathom all the natural disasters far and wide. Hope the news from Tricia is good and that she is safe.

Ohhh Evelyn, this is awesome... I love the texture, it's beautiful!!! =)

What happened in Joplin is devastating... I can't imagine living thru all that destruction! GOD BLESS THEM ALL!!!
Joplin is in the southwest corner of Missouri & I'm in the southeast corner just north of the bootheel... but we had some storms blow thru yesterday - a tornado went north of us & one went south of us here in Poplar Bluff... The weather is really starting to worry me... like I told my mom yesterday, hurricane season starts June 1st & then those people are going to be in danger! I just can't believe it all! Earthquakes, volcanoes, floods, hurricanes... Enough already!!!
