Purple on my windowsill

With the spring we're experiencing, we know better than to set out annuals before the end of May.  It just kills me to walk by all the flowering plants displayed in front of even the grocery stores, but I know better.  However, I did buy just one little Osteospermum plant ....a purple daisy.  I know it as an African Daisy, and that's one of its common names.   But there is another African Daisy variety, too.  Anyway, I love this because it's purple. Wow, wonderful shots. Love the vibrant colours and tones. Your choice of processing really adds strength to the images.

These are beautiful Evelyn! I think the first one is my favorite.
It sounds like we are having much the same weather. Our days have been pretty nice, but we are still getting frost at night, so no planting yet :-(
Sooooo, I did the same thing you did, and same plant too! I picked mine up this past weekend. It was a pitiful little thing that looked like someone had forgotten to water it, but it's coming along, and IF the weather ever changes, it will go into the garden.

The top one enlarged looks like painted on linen.
What a nice combination.
BTW, you can keep the pot inside for a few weeks, can't you?

OU you have same thing there as we have here, no flowers to the pots before end of May. I have been once in the gardening shop but just looking didn't buy anything even temptation was huge:)
