Columbine for Weekend Texture Twist and a Sunday Best

This Columbine plant is loaded with beautiful blooms this year, and I'm delighted with the look for Weekend Texture Twist at Life-n-Reflection.    Here's a photo edited with three of Kristy's textures: Dust Cloud, French Article, and Thunder Cloud.

After adding the textures, I also decided to use this as my Sunday Best entry.
De-sat image, Dust Cloud soft light 100%,  light erasing
French Article soft light 67%,  erase from flowers
Duplicate layer with same blend and opacity
Thunder cloud soft light 100%,  erase from flowers

Evelyn - this is Stunning! What a beautiful photo. I cannot believe the textures did all that - this would be so pretty as a Canvas Print in a dining room. Happy Sunday!

You did an amazing job with the texture. Color desaturation works very well for this. Beautiful edit, Evelyn!

It's amazing to me what can be done by editing pictures. I have no idea how to do any kind of editing.

Beautiful columbine and so delicate process. It is so sad columbine's blooming time is so short. I usually notice them when they are starting to fade out:)

You've seriously outdone yourself... This looks like a 3D picture, the flowers literally look like they're coming out of the pic! How cool! =)
