My idea for a Forever postage stamp

Lisa explores the tiniest "flowers" of moss in her Creative Exchange post today. Fascinating!   Macro photography certainly opens whole new worlds.  Of course, I kept thinking about what it required physically to record those unusual images of something so tiny---and so low to the ground.

My own entry this week is a "fantasy" of sorts:  it's my idea for a Forever stamp--that creation of the United States Postal Service to bridge the gap between frequent postage rate increases.   The Forever stamp has no denomination printed on it because it will cover any rate of the moment.   One of the current Forever stamps would be good for wedding correspondence.  It has two creamy roses lying on what seems to be a formal invitation. I think a pink peony would make a beautiful Forever stamp. (Picasa made this creation possible.)

I love your stamp - I think USP should commission this, it would certainly be a salve for the next price increase :-)

Dreamy and wonderful.
Good idea as well.

We have those stamps, saying first Class or Second Class, but all they have is the Queen's head.

Somehow I hadn't seen this fantastically gorgeous idea for a forever stamp, but if you submit it to the USPS, please let me know -- I would write in to endorse its choice for certain!! You did a lovely job on this image, E! And be sure to post when you pitch the idea to the PO because a lot of your blog followers would no doubt besiege the PO with encouragement! Denise B.
