I don't even know what this plant is, although I'm sure I could find out with just a little research.(I do not believe it's Queen Anne's Lace because it doesn't match the photos or description in my Field Guide to Wildflowers. Queen Anne's Lace is also called Wild Carrot, and its flowers "unfurl" from a lacy ball.) It's my choice for Lisa's Creative Exchange this week. The plant is growing in abundance along the mountain highway west of where I live. No doubt, the wet spring has contributed to its proliferation. Late afternoon provided that back-light perspective that I love. (Nelly Nero's Little Green Man action and some Gaussian Blur.)
Lisa's No Words month of blogging really appeals to me; I only hope that I can take photos that need no explanation.

I think this might be Queen Anne's Lace, but not 100%. Beautiful light here. And I'm all for the no words thing! I always get sad when I come across a post that is too long because I know I don't have time to really read it all. The shorter the better! :)
Beautifully edited Evelyn. The plant is Queen Anne's Lace - one of my favorites to photograph.
queen anne's lace?
It looks like Queen Anne's Lace. A beautiful wildflower. Is there a dark purple center?

Definitely looks like Queen Anne's Lace, but if not, no matter, because it is simply gorgeous, as is your photograph of it.
