Edit Me Challenge #18

My Reflection of Something

It's a real challenge for me to edit someone else's photograph, particularly one that I consider fabulous as it is!  Kathryn, co-hostess of the "Edit Me Challenge" took this amazing shot of the ferris wheel at Chicago's Navy Pier.  Great point of view, out-of-this-world color----what could I possibly do with it?

I chose to intensify the beautiful color and play with some other aspects of the image.

First, I applied the Orton technique "recipe" that I learned earlier this summer, and then I ran the Nelly Norton "Bleak World" action.

The blurriness represents how I would feel if I ever ventured onto a ferris wheel that large!

I love the orton effect -- it works very well with this photo, Evelyn.

PS -- the photo on my blog today was a grain bin handle. How could you not see that? ;)
