Half of a Hundred

It's Tricia's 50th Barn Charm ....just think of all the great barn images that have been posted on her blog during that time! Last weekend, when I was looking for more barns to photograph, I started to wonder if I'm going to run out of them some day.   Meanwhile, I found 3 or 4 "new"ones in the county where I grew up. This is an area known as the South Fork of the Lostine River in Wallowa County of NE Oregon, and it borders wilderness area.     I love this image; that's why I've left it SOOC.    (The road actually runs to the left of the barn and makes a sharp left turn....it just isn't visible behind the grass.)  The barn has a green steel roof...and the blue haze in the air is the result of forest fires in Central and Eastern Oregon.

That barn looks lonely.
The fire haze makes for a dramatic shot.

Lovely color palette here. The barn roof kind of matches the background.

I was going to ask about the haze... I don't understand why people aren't more careful!

Evelyn, the barn is GORGEOUS & I love the shape of it... love that lone tree on the hill standing watch, too. You really captured a great scene

Thank you millions =)

I see this renovated, and made into a wonderful little studio.
Magical serenity.

Love this barn! The blue haze was an added bonus that day....but too bad it was from a fire. Stoppin by from Barn Charm.
