Making new art with photos

It's time for Photo Art Friday again.   Bonnie has provided two transformations of a reflection image in her post. The images left me with the feeling of amazing size, both as a result of her choice of original shot and then because of her edits. They truly look like paintings.

My own choice is fairly simple:   hydrangea blossoms edited with the Nelly Nero "Brit Flick" action, and Bonnie's "Artist Texture1" in screen blending mode.  (My two hydrangea plants will never look the way most hydrangeas do because the deer feast on them in the spring....and now and then during the summer.)

Simple, and simply gorgeous Evelyn!
I love the tones in this, and that little bit of pink/peach to the right is pure magic!
So nicely done.
Have a wonderful evening!

A pity your deer have such upmarket taste in shrubs :-). Luckily they left some blossom heads for you to create this image which is both soft and strong. The colours, hardly colours, more shades of cream, have come out beautifully.

Amazing! - Wonderful etherial feel.
Sad that deer eat your lovely flowers. I gave up on Hydrangeas here because of winter freeze.

So delicate. I've been admiring, from a distance, hydrangea plants in my area--so big and blowsy. It's a treat to see the detail of each little blossom up close like this. They look almost like frosting flowers on a wedding cake.
