Exclusive barn for an absentee landlord

One one of my "barn drives" in September, I found several  on the road from the South Fork road out of Lostine, a tiny community in NE Oregon.  This well-maintained barn sits like a jewel in the landscape of Lostine River Ranch, where the "No Trespassing" sign hangs on the fence (locked gate) at the road. It's right at the edge of the wilderness. The house is on the property but not in this scene.  I'm linking up a little late with Tricia's Barn Charm.

I agree, it's a jewel on the edge of the wilderness. the scene is very picturesque. I try to imagine living there, right on the edge of both wilderness and river. it must be a wonderful life! great capture Evelyn. happy week to you.

WoW! What a gorgeous layout... love the barn, of course, and the pond, the fencing, the animals, the trees, the mountain in the background, etc... you know where I'm going w/ this... I love it all! =)

Thanks for joining, Evelyn, much appreciated =)

Well, la-de-da! Haha! Must be nice to have a barn like this "just for fun."

Beautiful with the tall evergreens in the background.

It looks delightful sitting there all by itself.

Absolutely breathtaking. While I'm a "city" girl I can appreciate the beauty of the country and this scene surely captures that.
