It was the last golden week before fall rains began. The stalks of wheat were still standing at the edge of a harvested field. It's the 40th week of Darcy's P52 Challenge: one photo a week for 2011.
Simply Lovely, Wheat fields are just wonderful to look at. We have plenty of them around here.
Yes the "rains" have started here too. Much needed but I'm sad to see that summer is now officially over. I'm not much of a winter person so I will look forward to spring.
