A Shot of the Moon -- Week 46 of P52

I've never been successful at photographing the moon; of course, I'm never prepared, either.  However, this capture of a November moon didn't require any special preparation.  I had my 70-300mm zoom lens on the camera and the moon was coming over the hill about a mile east of my house as I arrived home.   My year of recording a photo each week as part of Darcy's P52 challenge is winding down.

Hi Evelyn; that is a wonderful shot; great lens! The sky is 'blue' still; if I tried to take a moon photo the sky would be black. I even looked out last night being a full moon I think to see if I could try a pic but thought it too hopeless. Yours has such light in it; great photograph. I wonder what has been your favourite over the year in your challenge?
