Day Four -- Christmas Textures

I'll miss tomorrow's Christmas gift texture from Kim Klassen.... will be out of town until Saturday.  But I'll catch up!  Today's "Edward" texture has been applied to a 1904 barn cupola. Two other images that I created are more aged and vintage looking, but I decided I liked the idea of retaining some of the original color.

I also retaining some color in my textured photos. Especially when it's a beautiful vintage shade of red like you have here!

I believe that the color works very well on this as does the texture. I have been shooting a lot of the tops of barns with weather vanes and cupolas.
