Another Barn from Wallowa County

A recent drive with my elderly mother took us to a road called "Swamp Creek Rd." near Joseph, Oregon and those fabulous Wallowa Mountains.  I found several more barns that day for Tricia's Barn Charm meme.   This is one of the more interesting ones because of the "decoration."  I really don't know what it means...possibly, it's the owner's brand.   I know I can find out if I just ask the right people.
(Some local research indicates this is the owner's brand.  He is now in his 80's and goes south each  winter.)

almost looked like a pig snout and smile.

Oh so charming! I love that mark whatever it stands for. It's like it's smiling. If the first part was rotated I'd think smiling cows. :)

Surely that is a brand, but I've never seen anyone do that before. Love the mountains in the background.

I would love to know what the sign means...it is so strange. If you ever find out, please tell me or put it on another barn charm!

The marking is certainly distinctive and makes for a happy looking barn. The setting is lovely too, and I love your header shot.

Eye-catching for sure! The windows look like eyes and dimples for a smiling barn!

Great shot of the barn with the mountains in the background. I wonder what the markings stand for.
I love your header. Did you paint it or did you do a texture on a photo?

This is very cool -- I don't think I've ever seen a barn quite like this. Gorgeous backdrop, Evelyn. :)
