Creating Photo Art for Friday

Bonnie (Photo Art Friday) has invited us to post our 'favorite photo art of 2011.'   I fudged.   It was only after I started following Pixel Dust Photo Art that I learned about this type of photo art.   I've chosen an image of my favorite old pickup that I visit when I travel across the Blue Mountains into Washington state.  It sits on a piece of property adjoining a now-defunct elk farm.    For this image, I applied Season's Greetings with Vivid blending mode x2, plus French Boudoir Blue with Color Burn.

I'd like to "fudge" as well as that, Evelyn! That's such a winderful old car and you edited your photo beautifully. I, too, am a relative newcomer to photo-art, so you are not alone!

The colours you have accomplished are to be commended. I have a favourite car that sits in a paddock but I cannot get close enough to take shot of it close up. Cheers

Great image and use of textures. You don't lose the feeling that it's an old car, but the colors add a little something unexpected.

I love the effect you've achieved - it only adds to the character of this old, rusty pickup. Wonderfully done!
