The Curious Type

Llamas are a most interesting creature.  I found these along a road that ends at the base of the "high mountains" (a term commonly used for the wilderness area in my home county).   I don't know llamas, but I know horses:  when a horse pins its ears back, it isn't happy.   I had the feeling that might be the same with a llama.   However, I was a little distance away from the high fence enclosure...with a telephoto lens.    One thing---llamas have the cutest faces!  I'm linking up with Rural Thursday.

Love that last shot, they certainly do have cute faces! I would avoid that guy with the ears pinned back too, good thing you had the telephoto lens!

You certainly are correct about the ear communication. Ears back means a cranky llama. I know. I live with one. :-)

They really do have cute faces! WoW!
They look so friendly, but I read on a blog last week that they're not all that friendly after all... my mom's friend had one & it was friendly, so, I don't know! =0

haha! Love it! We had some friends who used to have llama's on their horse farm. They were fun to watch and very curious. Great shots, Evelyn!
