Today I was concerned that I would never get something for
Rural Thursday: every morning this week, we've had heavy, wet snow which transitions to heavy rain by mid-morning or noon. So much for Spring! However, I managed to collect a few rural images on a country drive with my mother and later, on the county road near my old home. (No pretty cherry blossoms here....or in the near future, either!)

Oh, I love the cows! I haven't taken any photos here this week either. It's been so dreary. I have my fingers crossed for tomorrow though. Hope you have a sunny and happy weekend :)
Evelyn, I love those shots... I like that you changed them to sepia tone... 'rockjack' is that what those are called? I've seen them all my life in eastern WA (and other places) but never knew what they were called (now if I can only remember that next time I need to). The warning sign, looks like many I've seen here and there in my rural travels, I've braved a couple because of wanting 'that' photo and got myself into a pickle a time or two...
