Snake Grass is actually called that....also Horsetail. Like bamboo, it is evidently invasive if grown as an ornamental plant. |

Signs of Spring
It's Rural Thursday and I've been away in the very urban Brooklyn and Manhattan, New York. A quick drive on the country road not far from my house this morning produced these visual signs of spring: horses cropping green grass instead of hay, Canada geese checking out nesting areas in a boggy pasture, and "snake grass" growing dark green along the gravel road. There's hope for a change in seasons!

Beautiful signs of spring!
It looks as though Spring has arrived in your neck of the woods! :)
There's nothing like seeing the green starting to come though-- everyday seems to be more green up here in Wallowa valley, too. Love the snake grass photo!
