It's Beautiful Country!
Today was another day with my elderly mother....driving around the county where we both grew up and trying to think of somewhere "new" to visit. For Rural Thursday, I've chosen one of those fabulous valley and mountain views of the southern end of Wallowa County in NE Oregon. This was a scene we passed today, right before we descended from 4200 feet elevation in Joseph to 1900 feet in the tiny unincorporated settlement of Imnaha --all in a 30-mile drive.
