Nursery Columbine

The columbine flowers were giant in the greenhouse of the local farm supply store last weekend.  I took my camera the second time we visited to buy the stones and soil for a permanent tomato "patch" and for the base of my two pots of Asiatic lilies.  I have some columbine of my own, but nothing as impressive  as this one.

I love columbines, they come in such lovely colour combinations. Over here, we mostly see the very delicate and pastel ones, yours is an electric blue! Most unusual. I love the yellow centre and powdering of pollen.
