True Sign of Spring

A few days away from my blogs and I'm having difficulty starting up again.  This is Sir Rufous Hummingbird, who frequents the feeders on each side of our house. The photo was edited with Robin Egg from the texture collection of Nancy  (aka el_vigilante on Flickr).

Hi Evelyn.. What a cutie and he even posed for you! Great capture!
I use Photomatix for processing HDRs. It's wonderful. I also use Photoshop Elements and Topaz. I love working with HDRs, hours of fun.. sometimes too many.
Have a great week!

an excellent hummingbird shot. It's rare that they land and sit awhile, most photos I see are of them in flight. you got really lucky on this one. I haven't seen any around here yet, but I'm sure they're out there. I bet it would help if I put a feeder out, right? I know what you mean about getting back into it once away from blogging. happy week to you Evelyn.

Welcome back Ev! I've never seen this species of Hummer before and it's gorgeous. Love what you've done with the texture as well. :)
