It's a Holey Roof!

As mentioned in an earlier post, I "collected" a few barns on a one-day trip into two neighboring counties recently.   The John Day country has many buildings left from yesteryear, and this is one of them.   It's a barn because there is a corral and what seems to be a cattle chute adjacent to it.  I can't imagine that the structure is used for much, however.  I'm linking up with Tricia's wonderful Barn Charm again.

Gorgeous find and nicely captured.

I think of these as historical buildings. They represent a way of life from the past that continues today on family farms.

I'm loving the blue hues in the background. Then you have the dried weeds in the front which makes for perfect framing. Very, very nice!

As usual, I'm interested in your technique, Evelyn. How did you achieve the soft focus that's so perfect for this subject. I could study this photo for a long time. Lots to learn from it.

What a tiny lil place in the mountains of Oregon!
Wouldn't you love to hear the stories it could tell

Thank you, Evelyn =)

Great picture, I love it! :)
You wouldn't think it is still being used but with the corral panels in place, it makes you wonder.
