I had to try Steve Rich's action to create a colored canvas after seeing Lisa Gordon's beautiful pincushion flower. I chose an image of my Just Joey rose, applying a RadLab recipe to lighten the dark background before applying Steve's action in PSE. Thanks to Steve and Lisa! (Should the text be in white??? Too late...I don't feel like changing now.) I'm linking up with Madge's Weekly Top Shot.

that is pretty. i like the mat and font color as is. :)
I just adore you sweet sweet Evelyn! Big smile.
And WOW! Pretty yellow flower!!! I cannot get yellow right, ever. It is the hardest color of flower to photograph, and yet you've made yours here look soft and buttery. Lovely. And I love your new signature. You rock! And what a cool action! And I like the text the color it is, did you use the eyedropper to sample a color from the image itself, to use as your text color? At any rate, I like it. A lot.
XOXO
wooooow, that is gorgeous. yes, white letters in a even softer tone. awh............
Very pretty!

Such a beautiful, pale yellow flower!
I love the text as it is. I need to figure out how to do this....sounds like a good project for this hot weekend. Thanks for the inspiration.
Such a pretty color! Glad you are having fun with the new app. :)
PS -- I'd run and hide too when they knock on the door, but my hubby wouldn't allow it! :)
WOW! Speechless.
I think it'd be interesting to see the text in white because it would be softer. But I really like the color you chose. The photo is stunning!
Oh, great editing work here. Love the subtle tones and soft colors.
I think it is lovely just the way it is! :)
