Fall and Long-Awaited Rain
I don't like to think about winter, and fall leads to winter---but a few days of rain after three totally dry months, and fall looks rather pretty! This is Hwy 204, the two-lane state highway that goes west from our town across the Blue Mountains. It's a beautiful drive in any season; winter is just a little dicey sometimes. I'm with you, Evelyn! Fall leads to winter and winter is not my favorite season either :~( We certainly needed the rain, although not all at once. Monday's storm was quite a downpour!!!
But the colors of Autumn are beautiful, which makes the season a bit more palatable :~)
