REDISCOVERING MYSELF THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHY

First Snow

Last night I decided to bicycle for my exercise this morning; for 7 weeks, I've been doing a two-mile walking program in front of a video.   However, when I woke up, it was snowing.  It's the first of the year, and it isn't supposed to last more than a day. My previous two posts have featured the glories of fall colors; today, they have a different look.   (I took this photo through the window in my family room; our young red maple still has leaves. And I didn't take a bike ride!)

Wow, I can't believe there's snow already! You captured these frosty leaves beautifully. The depth of field is awesome!

As much as I hate to see the cold and snow arrive, this sure is beautiful, Evelyn!

Love that look as if you took the leaf out of the freezer

oh yours is the definite first of the season. I haven't seen snow here yet but I can see it on the distant mountains. I sure hope we have a mild winter...

Oh brrr....no snow here in the valley yet but you can see it on the mountains. I'm so not looking forward to it either.

This is a pretty shot though.
