Is Summer Over?

I took this photo right before the hard freezes started.....now there's still sunshine during the day, but the sky doesn't seem as blue. We're still hoping for rain soon.   If the weather forecast is correct, we should have some moisture within a week.  Unfortuately, AccuWeather on my phone indicates snow 10 days from now.  We'll see.  It's so important to have fall rains before the ground freezes too hard.

Love the blue and gold in the background --

we haven't had a lick of rain either.

Great colors on this image, Evelyn! The gold meadow at the very bottom is wonderful. So what happens if the ground freezes before adequate rain? Sorry if it's a stupid question. In any case, hope you get the rain!!
