Time for Texture Tuesday, where anything goes this week. I've chosen one of the many images I took while trying to capture the Golden Hour for my 2012 Project 52. My hometown sits down in a valley with the hills/mountains (we call them "hills," but flatlanders call them "mountains") in close proximity. The town's elevation is about 2600 feet, so it's necessary to drive up to higher ground, about 3000 feet, to capture the light above the mountains to the west. Jet trails run from south to north and vice versa. (Also linking up with Kent Weakley's Sweet Shot Tuesday.)

Glorious! I love the jet streams!
it is really beautiful. thank you, evelyn.
The jet trails give this a really interesting look. Beautiful sky!
Beautiful capture, gorgeous colors!
It's beautiful. I had to laugh at "(we call them "hills," but flatlanders call them "mountains")". It's similar to trees in Texas that Louisianians would call a "bush".
stunning!
i think the crisp silhouette of mountain makes it all the better...
beautiful work!
