Smoke Tree with Nancy's Textures

"Jake" and "Shane" are the names of the textures created by Nancy Claeys (A Rural Journal). I picked them up from her blog yesterday and immediately applied them to images of smoke tree foliage.  (I have begun adding my name to the photos I post on Facebook.)  Thank you, Nancy!  I love using your textures.

These are wonderful compositions and so complimentary to those beautiful leaves. I just downloaded two Nancy's textures as well: Ida & Jack. Can't wait to find the perfect image to use them on.

I really like the effect on your photos...they are subtle, but the I like the texture they create. Love the smoke tree leaves too!

My parents had a smoke tree when they first bought "the house" in 1968 -- it still stands and is such a lovely variety. :)
