A Cuppa Love eDition

Kim Klassen has re-started Texture Tuesday and "cuppa" is the theme this week.  Truly, I have no preference regarding the cups I use, and I drink a coffee drink rather than tea, most of the time.  But I love this beautiful china cup illustrated with watercolor images by an artist from my own state of Oregon.  I started buying the pieces in the 1980's to give to my mother; she bought more and then gave me the luncheon set a few years ago when she reached her late 80's.    Each cup features a different flower, but I've always loved this bright poppy one.   The image was edited with kk xanthe_scripted and kk stamped softly.

How special to have a local artist's work on a coffee mug. Poppies are so bright and happy so this, along with a cup of joe would be a great start to the morning. :)
