I'm rather sporadic about participating in
Bonnie's Photo Art Friday, but last night I thought I'd try again. The first challenge was to find an image with an "exit" or "entrance." I found an image from our trip to New York last spring with a bluish-green fire escape. From there, I just played: PSE's artistic filters, RadLab, Perfect Effects. As it turns out, I didn't stray too far from the original.

You made a lovely piece of art. Valerie
Awesome, I think this is great. Have a wonderful weekend.
I'm glad that you tried PAF again ... this is beautiful. Your editing really brought out color you wouldn't expect to be there. Very nice ..

Very interesting shot. I like the editing...just enough to really bring out the features of this fire escape.
How lovely! Looks like it could be a scene from Montreal. So many buildings here have those outside staircases.
I like what you did with it! The stairs stand out so much better and the color of the brick is a great contrast. Good job!
this is great!
very nice original and wonderful transformation into photoart
The original is beautiful but your edit is awesome!! :)

Your entrance and exit is perfect.
This is a wonderful piece of art, You've edited and transformed this scene to perfection! I just love that verdigris effect on the fire escape
What a pretty piece. I love the soft colors and the play of light in the photo is delightful. So glad you joined in.
Lovely, Evelyn! The blooming tree and shadows make this shot almost surreal and your color processing puts it over the top! Nicely done!
Hi Evelyn, I really like your artwork. Very nice!
Wow! This is an amazing edit, Evelyn!
The original photo is quite magical while the "enhanced" version gives it more of a storybook feel. Both are gorgeous!
