Winter Sunset on the Mountains

Sunset happens earlier and more quickly when one lives in a valley.  But getting just a bit higher can provide some great opportunities to see the setting sun as it drops behind the Blue Mountains here in NE Oregon.  I'm linking up with Madge's Weekly Top Shot.

this is a magical shot Evelyn. Divine.
I've never been able to decide if I prefer valley living to ridge living. I think valley - I don't like wind and it can be brutal on the ridge. though they each have their charms. happy week to you Evelyn.

I live in a small house between 2 large houses. Sometimes, when the sun is setting, I'll go up to the attic just so I can enjoy it a little bit longer. These are beautiful photos of your beautiful view!
