Hoar frost covered all the simple outside surfaces this morning. (Definition: a deposit of needle-like ice crystals formed on the ground or objects by direct condensation at temperatures below freezing.) The temperature was in the low 20's, and trees, weeds, dry grasses, and even fence wires, were all covered with the soft white spiky crystals. I really didn't want another winter photo for my year-long project, but I love the way this old wire fence looks. Linking up with Kent Weakley's Sweet Shot Tuesday and Project 52.

What's wrong with another winter photo? I think you captured the hoar frost beautifully. We will likely never see anything like that in our climate, so I enjoyed this very much. :)
