REDISCOVERING MYSELF THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHY

Part of the Stack

I have a terrible time balancing my loves of photography, crafting....and reading.   In the past few years, I got out of the reading habit, but I didn't stop buying books.  I just finished Jodi Picoult's TheTenth Circle, a disturbing novel in so many ways.  Now I'm reading Charles Frazier's Northwoods, which is starting out strangely, too.   But at least I'm reading.  (I'm also taking and editing photos, and I'm paper-crafting!)

However you do it, you do it well, Evelyn. Your photography and craft work are both so wonderful.

I have about 4 book waiting for me on my Kindle app. Hopefully when I am on summer break, I will get to them. :-)

Well, look at you! Doing it all. :) I read Jodi Picoult last year and after two novels became tired of the formula. Just read The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls and loved it.

Jodi Picoult always disturbs me a bit. Haven't read her for a while. Love Charles Frazier. I have a hard time balancing all my fun time things too.

I picked up a Jodi Piccoult novel at the thrift store last week and it may be awhile before I get to it. I'm having trouble finding time to read too.

I would love to find time to read again. I have a couple of novels waiting "on the stack." :)

This really made me smile, Evelyn! But you are doing all this, and I admire you for it! I do take photos but hardly ever process them - they just sit on my hard drive. And then I "collect" papers and stamps and paints and inks... no, I don't make cards, in case you wanted to ask ;-) Oh, and I buy books :-)

I feel the same way. I tend to go to extreme's, focusing on one hobby more than another. I would like to be more balanced but I review for several Christian publishing houses so that makes an obligation that has to be fulfilled! I see that we enjoy the same things; photography, reading and paper crafting :)
