Blossoms Above the Cemetery

It's called "Prairie Creek Cemetery" outside the mountain town of Joseph, Oregon where the truly majestic Wallowa Mountains dominate the scenery. The small, well-maintained cemetery, which sits on a hill above the wide valley, was established in 1892; in the spring, a fabulous pink-flowering tree grows at the far edge.  It's Week 21 in  Kent Weakley's Sweet Shot Tuesday and Project 52.
